Why the Playhouse for Comedy? The Camino Real Playhouse is the perfect setting to see some of the funniest and entertaining stand-up comedians working in the business today. The "Black Box" Theater has a seating capacity of around 60 so there isn't a bad seat in the house. Come see some of your favorite comedians up close and personal and then be a part of our special meet and greet after the show. Because seating is limited, reservations are highly recommended!

Tom Riehl & Ron Ruhman have been friends since the early nineties. Recalling the first time they met says Tom, "I was on stage for probably the second or third time in my life and there was this guy sitting in the front row, arms crossed, not laughing. After the show he came up and said he thought I was funny." A comedy friendship was born.

COMEDY FOR A
GOOD CAUSE!

Happy Holidays Everyone...
On December 10, we'll be transforming our monthly comedy show at Camino Real Playhouse into a holiday spectacular, aptly named, HoHo's and HaHa's: Ron & Tom's Excellent Christmas Adventure.

So what does this mean? Well...we're cutting our usual admission price of $12 in half with each toy donation received. Homefront America, a local organization benefiting military families will be on hand collecting the toys. The promotion code if you are bringing a toy is TOYDISC for online ticket purchases.

The night will feature performances by comedian Bill Word and the musical comedy of Throwing Toasters.  There will be music, comedy, a disgruntled elf, a raffle drawing and prizes, and a special appearance by the big man himself, Santa Claus. Come early to get a great photo to send to the family. The evening will be hosted by our Holiday Hostess Suzette Masters.

What better way to spend a few hours in December than a little stand up comedy and making a donation to a great cause, all at the same time.

GRAB A BITE TO EAT BEFORE OR AFTER THE SHOW

               

Whether you're coming to the 6PM  or 8PM show, why not grab a bite to eat before or after. There are some great restaurants within walking distance of the theater. AND... if you bring your ticket printout to any of these restaurants the day of the show, you'll receive a 20% discount off your total bill (alcohol not included). And that's no joke!
